Bad news, good news

Good news is Chris is very positive and keeps repeating that we'll be okay.

Bad news is Chris was, in so many words, let go from The Birmingham News.

As were many, many of our friends and co-workers. Some of whom were damn good at their jobs.

I'm sad. Sad for Birmingham since the city will be losing its daily newspaper come fall.
Not really that sad for us. We'll be okay.
