In the eye of the beholder

A long time ago (just April, but in the internet age that is forever), I had the idea to walk our alley and create an arrangement with the pretty wildflowers growing there in the public space. A few days later, me and my trusty helper took a stroll and came back with a Mason jar full of purple and white flowers. Will enjoyed using the pruning shears (with MUCH supervision!). I'm not a flower arranging pro by any means, but I think it turned out quite nice. The added bonus, it lasted more than a week on the porch without really drooping. These "weeds" haven't survived the millennium by being greenhouse wimps!
